After signing up in EasyRecharge App, you have to give the app access to find your location which will show the nearest charging stations. You can browse the nearby areas and check essential info about those stations, such as compatible EV, images, details, costs, and availability.You can also book a slot beforehand to save your time. Otherwise, you can visit a charging station and get your car charged. Furthermore, you can see the amount you have to pay and make the payment at the charging station.

After your electric vehicle is charged, the mode of payment is made to the host of the respective charging station.There can be various modes of payment ranging from Cash,Card,Electronic bank transfers and UPI.

The time it takes to charge an electric car can be as little as 30 minutes or more than 12 hours. This depends on the size of the battery and the speed of the charging point.A typical electric car (60kWh battery) takes just under 8 hours to charge from empty-to-full with a 7kW charging pointMost drivers top up charge rather than waiting for their battery to recharge from empty-to-full. For many electric cars, you can add up to 100 miles of range in ~35 minutes with a 50kW rapid charger.The bigger your car’s battery and the slower the charging point, the longer it takes to charge from empty to full.

But standardizing it into SG dollars, If electricity costs $0.30 per kWh and the vehicle consumes 27 kWh to travel 160 km, the cost per km is about $0.05. If electricity costs $0.30 per kilowatt-hour, charging an EV with a 320-km range (assuming a fully depleted 54 kWh battery) will cost about $16 to reach a full charge.

Most EV manufacturers recommend that you stick to between 20-80% battery charge, so based on your driving habits, you’ll want to plug in every three days or so.

2030, of which 40,000 will be in public carparks and the other 20,000 in private premises.

There are two categories or types of charging:  AC Charge and DC Charge.

The fastest way to charge your EV – at a public DC Fast charging station with power from 50kW and above. With this method you can top up your battery from 20 to 80% in approx. 40 minutes. There are also some ultra-fast charging stations that already provide more than 150kW.
